40-Hour HAZWOPER

This course is specifically designed for employees who work with hazardous materials or respond to hazardous spills as part of their work duties. This course examines proper health and safety procedures and personal protection during clean-up and emergency operations. Topics include hazard identification and control, hazardous materials (e.g., flammable, explosive, radioactive), safety planning, site control, personal protective equipment, monitoring, emergency and incident response operations, spill control and decontamination processes. H2S Awareness

The two-hour awareness course meets the OSHA H2S requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1200 (Hazard Communication) and the American National Standards Institute standard Z390.1. OSHA 30-Hour: General Industry

The 30-hour course applies to safety coordinators, management, team leads and personnel who have responsibility for the safety of others and the company safety program. The course content meets the OSHA requirements. It covers the following topics: OSHA Act and history, HAZCOM/GHS, PPE, recordkeeping, toxic and hazardous substances, powered industrial trucks, stairways and ladders, fire prevention plans, emergency action plans, electrical safety, materials handling, hand and power tools, confined spaces, safety and health program and other topics. Respirator Wearer

This six-hour class meets OSHA requirements of 29 CFR 29 1910.132 &.134. This course is for workers who must wear respirators to perform their duties. Microsoft Windows 10: Introduction

An operating system (OS) is like the office you use to organize your life and as such, it should be designed around your individual needs. In this course, we will compare and contrast the most commonly found operating systems like Windows versus Mac. We will also briefly cover a few, more obscure systems you might not even know you’re already using, such as the common Android OS, popular on most cell phones. After the broad analysis of what’s available to users, we will learn specifically how to best use Windows 10 operating system as an organized storage space for your personal works. We will talk about portable storage mediums (flash drives, USB sticks, thumb drives, etc.) and how to transfer from your OS to these types of devices. We will cover settings and how to get your computer to behave in the way that is most comfortable for you. WordPress: Customization

Part of the appeal of WordPress is that there are so many free and premium themes available with which you can get a new website up and running quickly. But some people just weren’t made for “cookie cutters.” This class will show you how to adapt a theme to meet your, or your business’, unique needs. Included in this class will be advice on how to modify the visual styling of your WordPress site; how to create “custom post types,” which (among other uses) can help in the creation of a simple online store; and how to more effectively incorporate plugins to further extend the power of your WordPress website.
