PassengerOn your next walk along the White Rock promenade be sure to stop at the White Rock Museum and Archives and take a look at “Passenger”. This stunning six foot bronze sculpture was installed on December 15, 2014 and celebrates the historical signifi-cance of rail in White Rock. The artist Denis Kleine is a Canadian currently residing in Nelson, BC. For the past 30 years Denis has been creating large scale bronze sculpture public art.

Set in a forested park, the lively Centennial Park Leisure Centre and ice rink complex brings together everything that makes life in White Rock so rich and vibrant. The White Rock Mu-seum and Archives is dedicated to preserv-ing and promoting local history and culture and is located in the historic White Rock Train Station. The Museum offers changing exhibits and

Ten years ago, Gordon’s wife gave him a loving nudge towards his first Stretch
& Strength class. Soon she was so inspired by his renewed bounce and energy,
she joined him. Maggie, their Black Lab, was so impressed by the two of them,
now doing three fitness classes a week, she started taking them every day to
the new off-leash dog park right next to Centennial Park Leisure Centre!
