We, along with everyone else who had plans this spring, had to cancel some of our favorite events. I think our volunteers were as excited as the families. We also had to cancel our Youth Advisory Council recognition which we hated to do because we have some outstanding young men and women graduating from the program this year. Hopefully we have conveyed to them how much we appreciate their service. We will also be postponing our Open House, which we hoped to have in June but just think how great it will be to see everyone when we can reschedule! We are very grateful to those in the community who donated to our Coronavirus Emergency Fund. I’m proud of how well the Foundation has responded to the genuine need arising from the lockdown. We are being selective with the grants we fund so that our dollars go as far as possible. Our only wish is we could help everyone. As we continue to navigate our new normal please know that we are here, continuing our work. We appreciate all of you out there supporting our endeavors through Membership and Coronavirus Emergency Fund grant donations. We are, as they say, all in this together and together is how we’ll proceed. See you all soon!
