Musings from the President

I am not the eloquent speaker that I would like to be – a lot of times I stumble over the words I want to say. But I have always been able to apply pen to paper or in the “modern” times, computer to convey what I need to say. As we go through life we sometimes forget to thank those around us that share their gifts and talents. Those that step up and give of themselves are sometimes embarrassed when they are thanked. They do what they do because of a passion to do so and their reward is in their gifts of sharing. But what kind of leader would I be if I didn’t acknowledge those around me? We just celebrated our open house – also honoring our veterans and ISA life members – and the final count with staff included was between 275 and 280 persons. Wow! What a turn out! It would not have been possible without the following people: Paul Angelicchio, John Bell, Ray Bernick, Smokey Burdin, Bob Cain, Darryl Cecil, Al Ceol, Donna Ceol, Ron Coiner, Pat Corvino, Heather Crock, Josh Crock, Kevin Cryblesky, Amelia Daley, Jim Daley, Neal Daley, Mark DeCarlo, Joe Dopkosky, Michael Dopkosky, Tim Dopkosky, William Dowdrick, Mark Dufford, Tom Dunn, Joe Fields, Alexis Flemming, Jill Flemming, Jim Flemming, Josh Fordyce, Sue Forney, Bob Frye, Bill Garrison, Archie Gephart, Mike Godich, Ed Gollinger, Ken Gray, Ken Grove, Michael Grubbs, Ken Guidas, Melanie Guidas, Gary Hardman, Greg Hardman, Allison Horsman, Tamara Joyce, Chloe Kastonis, Kevin Kennelty, Chris Kastronis, Martin Kurtz, Larry Lichtenfels, Rich Lindh, Louis Mandich, Dan McCracken, Brian Miller, Dave Miller, Karen Miller, Randy Miller, Jeff Mull, Art Nagy, Dan Nave, Alanna Neidgh, Bruce Newell, Terry Newell, Bill Nowaski, Bob Peterelli, Irwin Police Chief Roger Pivirotto, Rich Pukal, John Reed, Arthur Riazzi, Dennis Riazzi, Ryan Riazzi, Rescue 6 EMT, Civil Engineer April Richards, Diana Ruffner, Jack Ruffner, Clarice Salay, Fred Salay, Paul Sansonetti, Brooke Sargent, Dave Sargent, Mike Serlo, Dave Scott, Eric Shiffer, William Smith, Dale Spoonhoward, Ron Spoonhoward, Zoe Spoonhoward, Dave Stefko, Rob Stockdill, Manor Patrolman Scott Urias, Carlee Valenta, Manor Police Chief George Valmassoni, Rolland Waldron, Holly Weaver, Rich Weaver, Shawn Weaver, Bill Weimann, Chris Weimann, Corey Weimann, Lauren West, Bruce Wilson, Nicole Zimmerman Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Shotgun shells have been found scattered

over the lower pistol range (over the hill

from the rifle range). This is a pistol range

and shotshells destroy the blue board.

Please...only a pistol range. At the very

least, pick up your shells. Thank you!
