Freshmen Ricarnecia Johnson and Molly McAdams along with juniors Madison Eubanks and Taylor Primrose were selected by UCA staff to be a part of this squad. The All-American team will travel to London, England, to perform at various venues for the New Year’s celebration. The ladies will be taken on several tours of the city as well as meet different British officials while on this trip. We congratulate these ladies on their accomplishment; more information will be released at a later date. The West Tennessee War Eagles traveled to the historic Little Rock Central High School to face off with the Arkansas Pirates.

The War Eagles jumped out to an early three-point lead off a 53-yard fi eld goal made by Sean Fraser. Less than a minute later, the defense made their presence known when Brownsville’s Steven Turner sacked the Pirate quarterback for a loss of two yards.

In the beginning of the second quarter, down 6-3, the War Eagle defense held strong with three consecutive pass break-ups to prevent an Arkansas touchdown. Malik Fryer brought down the Pirate runner, causing a turnover on a down later in the second.

The offense reemerged in the second half, beginning with a 21 yard pass from Ryan Scott to Josh Person. Two minutes

later, Scott connected with Person again for a 46-yard touchdown pass. These touchdowns brought the score at the conclusion of the third quarter to 28-18. Three minutes

into the fourth quarter Scott connected with Justin Mood on a 17-yard touchdown pass, bringing the War Eagles within a fi eld goal.
