SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT The Senior Swimming Carnival was held on Thursday the 16th of February at Nirimba Pool.

Wow! What a day!

Our students excelled in their participation and our data supports this with the highest level of students swimming and participating. A huge congratulations to everyone that encouraged others or challenged themselves to become involved. It is fantastic to report that absence is reducing. We are confident that this will continue to reduce next year as news travels of how much fun this year’s carnival was.

Our championship swimmers excelled and we had a number of very close finishes. Students who have qualified for HZSA will be notified this week. A big congratulations to our Age Champions and Runners Up. These students will be invited to attend the Sports Awards at the end of the year to be presented with their trophies and medallions.

On behalf of the College I wish to thank Mrs Carter for organizing Swim NSW officials and entering all the official data with Swim NSW. Furthermore, I wish to acknowledge the efforts of the teachers who so eagerly fulfilled their duties on the day. The success of the carnival is a real credit to the teamwork and dedication they showed. I would also like to thank the parents as it was wonderful to see the large number of spectators eager to support their children. If you have any suggestions on how we can continue to improve the carnival you are invited to email [email protected] with written feedback.
