SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY New course in English If you are a Physiotherapy student and interested in developing your skills in sports physiotherapy, this could be an exciting course for you. We at UCSJ have introduced a 20 week interna- tional module in Sports Physiotherapy which will be conducted in English. The module will be offered at Campus Roskilde (close to Roskilde University) and is about 30 minutes by train from Copenhagen Central Station. ECTS: 30 Overview of the Course: The focus of this course is on pre- ventive, diagnostic and rehabilitation strategies in common injuries and other health issues in sports. After successful completion of the module, it is expected that the students will be capable of handling common sports injuries, understand and implement the interdisciplinary approach, use advanced diagnostic techniques and scientific methods in providing optimal health to sportspersons in a wide variety of situations. Participants: ● Physiotherapy students from Denmark and other EU countries who are interested in acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of sports physiotherapy ● Participants from partners of non-EU countries might on a case-to-case basis be invited to participate It is important that the applicants are comfortable in understanding, reading, listening and writing in english to fulfill the academic require- ments of the course.
