RobertTrentJonesIIhasbeendesigninggolfcoursessincethe1970’iesandisamongthetopdesingerswithinthisfieldintheworldtoday.Thefirmwasamongthefirsttousethenaturallandscapeinthegolfcoursedesign.

Thegolfcoursewillhaveacentralroleintheresort.Itisacourseofveryhighinternationalstandardwhichwillattractlargerturnamentsandarrangementstothearea.

260haforesttallanddenseconsistsmainlyofpineandfirwithafewdeciduoustrees

Themainpartofthe260haprojectsiteisforest.Theforestisinitselfagreatpartoftheexperienceoftheresort.

Theintentionistopreservetheoriginalvegetationwherepossibletogivetheim-pressionthattheresortisinthemiddleoftheforest.Thevacationhousesarealllyingamongthetreesandtrailspassthroughareaswithdenseforest.TheexperienceofnatureisanimportantpartoftheresortandtheSwedishlandscapecreatesabeau-tifulsettingforit.

Den gennemgående rute binder skovområdet sammen med kyststriben, og bliver en hovedpromenade.4 Promenaden bliver til en sammenhængende ‘vej’,

som kobler forskellige funktioner sammen, og samtidigt er forbindelse til boliger og aktiviteter og mellem delområder.
