GREETING Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 70th Annual Conference of the Hellenic Society of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (HSBMB) which will be held in the city of Athens, Greece, at the Eugenides Foundation, from November 29th to December the 1st, 2019. As every year, the HSBMB Conference is bringing together over 1000 participants and contributes to the interaction between research teams of Greek scientists working in various fields of life sciences, both in Greece and abroad, presents the work of young Greek researchers and highlights the recent research advances of nationally and internationally established scientists. This year also marks the Centennial of the foundation of Hellenic Pasteur Institute (HPI), a member of the International Network of Pasteur Institutes and the oldest Biomedical research Institute in Greece. Quite appropriately, a more translational keynote session dedicated to the Pasteurian mission to prevent and treat diseases, through research, teaching, and public health initiatives, has been organized with the participation of the distinguished keynote speakers Bart Staels (Institut Pasteur, Lille) and Philippe Sansonetti (Institut Pasteur, Paris). Other distinguished keynote and plenary speakers include Sabine Werner (ETH, Zurich), Fiona Doetsch (Biozentrum, Basel), Alberto Passi (Univ. of Insubria, Varese), Bon-Kyoung Koo (IMBA, Vienna) and Manolis Kellis (Broad Institute, MIT and Harvard). The list of distinguished speakers is completed with the participation of Greek scientists namely, Antigone Dimas (BSRC “Alexander Fleming”), Vassilis Douris (University of Ioannina), Konstantinos Kambas (Hellenic Pasteur Institute), Petros Kolovos (Democritus University of Thrace), Kostas Mathiopoulos (University of Thessaly), Panayiotis Politis (BRFAA), Vassiliki Sarli (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Spyridon Skandalis (University of Patras) and Ioannis Charalampopoulos (University of Crete). The 70th HSBMB Conference is open to all modern fields of human and non-human Biochemistry and Molecular Biology including Structure and Function of Macromolecules, Development & Cellular Signaling, Cellular Organization and Function, Gene Expression & RNA Biology, Molecular & Cellular Basis of Human Disease, Systems Biology & Bioinformatics, Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology. Linked to the 70th HSBMB Conference, is the 7th Forum of Young Scientists of the HSBMB, which has been very successfully organized by an independent committee of young researchers for the past 6 years and takes place in Athens, at the Eugenides Foundation on November the 28th, 2019.

All companies that will participate in the Conference in either way (sponsorship, stand) will be mentioned to the website & final programme of the Conference as SPONSORS.

APPLICATION FORM

For better collaboration and in order to avoid mistakes, it is essential to complete the entry form you will find at the end of this leaflet. Consigning the entry form indicates full acceptance of the terms of participation listed below, the terms of payment and cancellation policy. For any sponsorship package or booth requested you will either receive an offer – confirmation from our office which you must return signed and sealed or you should send us your company agreement.

STAND(EXHIBITION SPACE/WITHOUT CONSTRUCTION)

For the selection of the stand area, please indicate 2 options in order of priority. Ιn case of full occupancy of the exhibition area, ERA reserves the right to add extra squares without affecting the existing stands.

PRICING-VAT

To all prices mentioned in this form VAT 24% is not included. Invoices are issued after the end of the Conference in accordance with the amount of sponsorships.

CANCELLATION POLICY

REGISTRATIONS Registrations in the Conference is non-refundable.

SPONSORSHIP-STAND

Up to 1/9/2019: no charge.

From 1/09/2019 to 28/10/2019: 50% cancellation fees

Post 28/10/2019: Cancellations will not be accepted and the payment of sponsorship/stand is compulsory. Cancellation refunds will be made after the end of the Conference given that the above conditions are met.
