INTRODUCTION TO TPAS CONFERENCE 2016

This year’s conference will take place on the 13th and 14th July at

Chesford Grange.

The two day TPAS Conference will provide the perfect platform to

network with key decision makers in the social housing sector and to

promote your company's services to a wider audience. Even in

challenging times TPAS offers great value for companies seeking

greater recognition of their brand & network with key decision

makers.

TPAS has a national reach of 2.2 million people, giving sponsors a

strong footing to connect with this powerful movement.

Increasingly, tenants & leaseholders are key influencers within and

outside housing boards. Their voice is heard & listened to by Boards

and chief executives. They know tenants' views are critical to social

landlords' standing in the sector and with the HCA as regulator.

So the TPAS Conference is a key event in the social housing calendar

as they recognise the dedication of community champions and

celebrate the achievements of tenants and paid staff who work

alongside tenants. Working together they make a real, positive and

lasting difference to tenants and communities. Last year we saw 350

tenants, from sector leaders and debate key issues facing tenants

and communities. We expect 2016 Conference to be even more in

demand from tenants wishing to join in the conversation.

In promoting the Conference, TPAS will be conducting an extensive

social media campaign under @tpasengland @Tenant_Central

@tpasawards @tpasconference using #tpasconf15. They will also be

making personal contact by emailing over 5000 tenants, 225 TPAS

social landlords’ members and 1642 tenant groups on TPAS'

database. TPAS as a collective has over 8,000 followers on Twitter.

All of which guarantees sponsors fantastic coverage and extremely

positive publicity by being associated with such inspirational people

& projects. Sponsors will feature in the fortnightly TPAS E-zines &

have advertisements in the Awards brochures. As in previous years,

sponsors logos will be front and centre at the Awards ceremonies

with the option to present the category winners with their

commemorative plaques on stage.

TPAS is the leading national organisation which works to promote

tenant empowerment and aims to extend the reach and quality of

the tenant influence by working with the social housing residents

and landlords.

The TPAS Awards is now in its 10th year and these awards showcase

the compelling and inspirational stories of success of tenants,

landlords and contractors working together. We celebrate the

people, ideas and organisations that shape tenant involvement work

of tomorrow.

WHY SPONSOR?

The TPAS Awards are one the most important awards in the Social

Housing calendar. In 2015 alone, the awards attracted 2000 guests

giving each sponsor significant exposure to the key decision makers

in the housing sector and the fantastic opportunity to raise their

brand awareness. There are 13 sponsorship packages available for

the TPAS Awards which we believe offer the unique opportunity to

reach all levels of the housing sector - from tenant to chief executive.

Through the partnership between TPAS and 24Publishing, The TPAS

Awards 2016 will run a campaign inclusive of 10 adverts (including

sponsor logos), a winners feature & updates covered from

September 2015 to July 2016 – this is 10 months of national

coverage to build brand awareness.

The TPAS Awards will also run a social media campaign through

@tpasawards and @tpasengland which together have a reach of

over 6000 followers. There will be Twitter traffic on the lead up to

each of the award ceremonies and a live feed during the ceremonies.

Other planned promotion of The TPAS Awards will include targeted

email campaigns using the TPAS Awards database of over 7000 email

addresses - representative of the 220 landlord and 1500 tenant

group members. Each sponsor will appear in the TPAS Round-Up

magazines over the next 12 months alongside Award winners’ stories

& images.

TPAS membership, products and services reaches to over 2.2 million

people nationally and is a brilliant way to promote your brand &

show your commitment to tenant empowerment.
