Executive Connect Executive Connect Web SiteWeb Site
Executive Connect® is an online Web-based auction program (www.executiveconnect.org) where prominent people (CEO's, CFO's, CIO's, government officials, entertainers and other business leaders)agree to be auctioned off for lunch. This programallows professionals to network and “connect”with people in the business community that they wouldnot normally have access to.
Like most online auctions, visitors to the site submit bids online. Auctions will be displayed for approximately one week, then 2 days prior to theclose of the auction, the bids go silent. This is the last attempt for folks to secure the person they wish to have lunch with, by submitting their best and final bid without it being displayed. At the end of the silent period, the highest bidder is guaranteed the opportunity to take the leader to lunch, arranged withhelp from the LTC.
Executive Connect is implemented severaltimes throughout the year.
As a sponsor of the LTC’s Executive Connect Website, your company logo will be prominentlydisplayed on every page.

Homeland Security ForumHomeland Security Forum
Since early 2002 and shortly after 911, the LTC has implemented Annual Homeland Security forums that have focused on a variety of homeland security initiatives and issues pertinent to our State and country. The theme of the forum focuses on the significance that technology plays in the overall homeland security efforts of Louisiana and our country.
The focus has centered on the Role of Technology in Homeland Security, how Louisiana companies can participate both at the federal and state level, the progress that has been made at all levels of government and what further development is needed to protect our citizens.
The LTC provides presentations by prominent executives and leaders from Federal, State and City government along with key business leaders. Past participants have included the Director of Science and Technology from the Department of Homeland Security, advisors to the President, military commanders and more. State and City leaders responsible for homeland security efforts and Homeland Security experts from across the country and internationally have also presented.
