Current By-Laws Amendments Process• Amendments to these Bylaws may be proposed in writing by the
Board of Directors or by a petition signed by five percent of the members of the Society eligible to vote.
• Such proposed amendments shall be presented to the Secretary/ Treasurer at least 30 days in advance of the Annual Meeting.
• The Secretary/Treasurer shall cause the same to be presented in open session during the next Annual Meeting of the membership.
• After such proposed amendments have been presented during the Annual Meeting of the membership, the Secretary shall cause written copies thereof to be sent, by US mail or electronic means, to each voting member of the Society for a vote, as well as a ballot.
• A two-thirds affirmative vote of the votes cast by ballot shall be necessary for adoption of an amendment to these Bylaws.
