How to sponsor a child ?

People who are interested in sponsoring a Child's Education, can send us an e-mail on :[email protected],

All payments should be made either by cheque, Demand Draft, on line transfer through Net-Banking or ECS. A minimum of Rs. 600/month for a period of minimum of 1 year is the pre-requisite condition, to sponsor a child's education. (account details will be sent by mail to the patrons)

We request the donors to not to indulge in any kind of cash transaction, to maintain the transparency of the organisation.

How is your money spent?

Minimum Commitment : Rs. 600/month

1.Rs. 150/month will be reserved for Medical Expenses of the Child and will be utilized whenever the need arises, as epidemics and health issues in rural areas are frequent.

2.Rs. 300 will directly transferred in the child's bank account, so that the child can utilize the funds for his mundane necessities of travelling to school, clothes, uniform, etc, depending upon the child's need. However the School Head Master will have check on the funding and the usage of funds by the child.

3.Rest Rs. 150 will be reserved for books stationery, etc.

4.The amounts mentioned in points 2 and 3 are flexible and will be utilized in best possible ways. The donors can ask for the information any time during the program.

Amounts received in excess Rs. 600/month from the patrons/donors of the Sponsor a Child Program, will be utilized for the charitable purposes strictly and in the promotion and publicity of the 'programs' undertaken by H2G.

To  sponsor all the meals of the Child a minimum calculated expense is Rs.1500/month.

Checks on the functioning of the system

The donors can always talk to the child meet them, gift them on their birthdays, an arrangement of the same will be made at the earliest on request.

The donors will also be sent the progress report of the Child on regular basis.

Separate accounts are maintained of the  amounts donated for the Sponsor a Child Program by each donor.

Annual Reports will be published on the H2G website and a copy of the same will be mailed to all the patrons who have donated for the 'Sponsor a Child Program'
