Draw a Stem-and-Leaf Plot

Step 1 The stems are the greatest place values of the data. List the stems 1, 2, 3 in order in the Stem column. Write the ones digits to the right of the corresponding stems in the Leaf column.

Step 2 Add a key that explains how to read the stems and leaves. Include a title.

Answer: The median, or middle value, is 25. There are 3 values which appear twice. The modes are 17, 21, and 32.
