About the Conference

Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a vital role in every area of life now a days. Artificial intelligence not only creates opportunities

but also brings greater challenges to the sustainable development of engineering products. AI is helping the next generation

of companies to reduce their environmental and social impact by improving efficiency and developing new products.

Therefore, the relationship between AI and sustainable engineering is worth studying. To prioritize sustainable development,

AI is a massive technological boost. Sustainability is the greatest challenge in a variety of areas like AI, AR/VR, Robotics, IoT,

non-conventional energy and environment, agriculture, health, transportation, etc. It is believed that AI, data analytics and

data sciences have significant roles to play in evidence based policy making to support sustainability, as well as providing a

tool to monitor and achieve sustainable engineering goals.

AISE 2020 envisions the goal of unifying scientists, researchers and participants from academic as well as industry to present

their ideas, innovations and brainstorm to ignite the minds of attendees and peers together in addressing a variety of

sustainability challenges across the domains to discuss the challenges and opportunities for sustainable engineering based

on AI and supporting tools. The conference will focus on how the AI is useful in achieving the truly sustainable solutions

through sharing innovative ideas using transdisciplinary research.

About National Institute of Technology Goa

The National Institute of Technology Goa (NITGoa) is a premier technical Institute of the region. NITGoa was established in

the year 2010 by an act of parliament (NIT act 2007) and it is declared as “Institute of National Importance”. NITGoa is an

autonomous institute functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. The

campus is located at Farmagudi, Ponda approximately 29 kms southeast of Panaji, the capital of Goa and is a temporary

campus. The state of Goa is well connected by road ways, rail ways and air ways with various parts of the country. NIT Goa is thranked 77 in the NIRF 2020 Engineering ranking.
