About gauge & s iz ing : Please remember that tension can
differ for each person, and can affect your overall gauge. If your
gauge is not correct, then your sizes will not be correct. As long
as you do have the correct gauge, your sizes will be correct its
all about the math. J Also, just as personal gauge can affect the
width of a stitch, it can also affect the length of a stitch, which
affects the overall length of a hat. Hat length is somewhat of a
personal preference, so use your judgment regarding what you like.
If you need to add length, work more rounds. If you need to remove
length, work fewer rounds.
Approx imate S izes : Newborn to 3 Months (14), 3 to 6 Months
(15-16), 6 to 12 Months (17-18), Toddler (19-20), 5T to Adult
(21-22).
Gauge: approximately 2.5-3.5 sts/inch. (This will vary slightly,
depending on the size hook that you use.) PLEASE ADJUST HOOK SIZE
TO OBTAIN THE CORRECT GAUGE.
Notes : 1. When joining at the end of rounds, join with a slip
stitch to first fpdc from
beginning of round. These joins end up having a seamless effect,
and very difficult to notice.
2. The different sizes use different sized crochet hooks, and
the size needed is indicated at the beginning of the directions for
that size.
3. This hat is shown with pearl embellishments. They were
stitched onto the hat, after it was finished, with a needle and
beading thread.

About me: I am a former brick and mortar yarn shop owner, and
have been passionate about knitting and crochet ever since my
younger daughter was born. I taught myself how to knit and crochet,
and began designing my own patterns almost immediately because I
was not always finding patterns for the styles and designs that I
wanted. After the years of owning and running my yarn shop, I
decided to take my business to the Internet. It is a job that I
love! I truly appreciate your business! Customer service is very
important to me, so please always contact me if you have questions.
Thank you for choosing Posh Patterns. f Tammy
