Taiwan’s Implementation of CMMI: Opportunity or Competition - You Decide.

The country of Taiwan has taken a very aggressive approach in implementing systems and software engineering discipline as defined in the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) CMMI model.

The national goal is to make Taiwanese companies competitive in the growing world market of technical outsourcing. This presentation will look at Taiwan’s strategic direction and results, the business areas in which they are strong, and the issues they face. Depending on your position, this can be either valuable information on your competition or an opportunity to explore new providers of services.

Presenter: Roselyn (Rose) Whitney President, PFM
