In a Health & Wellness environment that is constantly changing, successful companies aren’t resting on past accomplishments but rather are exploring new ways to improve and are craſting solutions to the challenges at hand. An example of this is entegra's contracted supplier McCormick’s “1+1” concept where the simple addition of key spices and ingredients will change the entire flavor profile of a dish. Len King, CEC, CRC Senior Research Chef, McCormick, stated, “The message we’re sending is that you can add flavor to foods and do it in a healthy and simple way.” He added, “We can take something and make it healthier by using what we call a ‘1+1’ formula. For instance, we can take yogurt and by adding one of McCormick’s Spice Blends to it we create a healthier spread or dip or dressing.” King also noted that the “1+1” concept is also a life saver in today’s tight labor market. He explained, “I think the labor market is looking for easier solutions just because it’s hard to find cooks who are educated in making dishes from scratch. A concept like this makes it easy for the average cook.” SPICING IT UP! A DASH OF FLAVOR CREATES SIMPLE, ON-TREND SOLUTIONS FOR CONSUMERS

For more than 125 years, McCormick has an unmatched track record of delivering safe, high-quality products.”– PAMELA COLBERT, VICE PRESIDENT NA QUALITY ASSURANCE, MCCORMICK

Today, many consumers want to know where their food comes from and whether or not it was produced in a socially and environmentally responsible way. Because they source more than 3,400 different agricultural products from hundreds of thousands of farmers in 80 countries around the world, it’s easy to understand why supply chain integrity is critical to a company like McCormick.3 Commenting on the integrity of McCormick's global supply chain, Pamela Colbert, Vice President NA Quality Assurance for McCormick stated, "McCormick does not own and/or operate any commercial farms, but rather ultimately sources from an extensive network of mostly small agricultural producers

for our supply of many spices and herbs. Because of this we have established effective systems and processes to trace

our raw materials back to their origin and to ensure their safety and quality." Colbert also added, "Given that our supply chains are complex and multifaceted, cutting across agricultural and nonagricultural goods and services and involving key alliances with third parties, we have adopted different approaches to responsible sourcing depending on the different contexts of each product. Our investments in responsible supply chain management are critical to the long-term future of

the business and the health and sustainability of the many producers and communities on which we rely."
