The city, founded in 1609, offers many historic and scenic delights including the Old Santa Fe Trail, the seat of government for more than 300 years; the Loretto Chapel, a miniature model of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris; and the oldest church and home in New Mexico. Be sure to take time to stroll through the Indian Market, where native arts and crafts are available directly from the Indians who created them.
