Three years in development has resulted in these magnificent rods, utilizing Toreon

nano particles which enable rod engineers to produce lighter, stronger rods that

maintain every other required characteristic of a top carp rod, namely fantastic casting

performance married with a delightful fish playing action. Classically subdued cosmetics

and the very best components available combine to deliver what many people believe to

be amongst the best carp rods ever made.

The Prodigy GT5 blanks were designed from the ground up to improve every aspect of

performance over the original Prodigy rods. Designed to get the best out of modern,

powerful, overhead casting styles and Greys subtly tweaked the tip design to improve

recovery speed giving the rod a crisp and responsive feel whilst retaining the smooth

progressive Prodigy action that cushions lunging fish yet gives plenty of power and control

when needed. Visually, superb with resin rich Carbon Armour blank finish, the exclusive

DPS Carbon-Hybrid reel seat, slim shrink wrap handle and balanced stainless butt cap.

The Prodigy GT3s have been subtly tweaked in blank design and materials to provide

increased performance. The classic progressive action has been retained with power in reserve

for punching leads and PVA bags out to the horizon and yet has a refined and smooth top

section that ensures plenty of feel and control no matter what size of fish youre targeting.

The slim profile blank is complemented by a DPS reel seat, full Japanese shrink wrap handle

and gun metal anodised collars and butt cap. The GT3 is a worthy successor to the original

Prodigys; affordable, practical and cater to the needs of todays dedicated Carp anglers.

The Daiwa Infinity Carp rods is recognized as almost unbeatable but add the knowledge and talent of Danny Fairbrass and

Damian Clarke from Korda and they become something truly special. The result is a highly distinctive, subtle look using a

low glare silk matt finish and selected medium profile, high diameter Fuji SiC guides. A butt guide

of 50mm and intermediates of 38mm and 32mm are designed to funnel the line travel towards

the tip. A set up that is preferred by big hitters out there. The handle combination starts with a Fuji

reel seat with stainless steel trim rings and a profiled NS grip that continues to the butt. Flared at

the end for better gripping this stylised treatment is finished off with a stainless steel butt cap.

Hail the new Longbow DF s with a slim and sleek profile they offer a highly desirable

appearance. Carrying the now characteristic toned down look and profiled handle the

Longbows still produce the goods. Starting at 2.75lb this popular test curve will hit 120yds

(plus in some hands) and thanks to the slim blank will load sweetly along its length with plenty

of power down deep. Stepping up in test curve are the meatier 3.0lb and 3.5lb models. Hitting

bigger distances and putting out heavier loads these will undoubtedly suit the more common

styles of todays carp scene with the 3.5lb model reach 140 yards, accurately.

The Black Widow carp rods have always been

extremely popular. Improved for 2013, their action

allows for high casting power and accuracy but when

playing will load further into the rod, offering a good

cushion for hook holds and under the tip lunges.

Whether using braid or monofil the ultra low friction

guides will handle either.
