Basis of Payment
Payment will be made by prorating the appropriate cold milling contract item to the item's 100 mm mill thickness. Example: 90 mm plus an additional 50 mm =140 mm. Prorate depth over 100 mm, thus 140 mm/100 mm*unit price per m2.
2) Profiling
In areas where profiling is required to achieve adequate crossfall (min 2%) and to correct undulations, the profiling shall be achieved during the millng process.
Basis of Payment
All costs associated with this work shall be considered incidental to all related items of work. No separate payment shall be made.
3) Scaling
If the milling of composite pavement results in asphalt delamination or scaling off of the asphalt from the concrete road base, the Contractor shall remove the non-bonded material using a mechanical device, such as a bobcat. Any well bonded asphalt is to remain in place.
4) Paving
Paving shall be in echelon for all surface course paving operations and where conditions permit for the final lift of base course asphalt.
A material transfer vehicle "shuttle buggy" shall be utilized for every paving operation.
Basis of Payment

And references to "115 percent" shall be replaced with "108 percent" and "105 percent", respectively. The theoretical mass shall be based on the actual area constructed plus any approved padding and/or variations in depth.
