Advanced Carbody Design. Advancedcarbody design stands up to thetoughest applications.
• Modified X-shaped box-sectioncarbody provides excellentresistance to torsional bending.
• When track roller frames are inworking position, the lift capacityover-the-side and over-the-frontare the same.
• Robotic welding helps ensureconsistent, high-quality weldsthroughout the manufacturing process.
Thicker Carbody Plates. Thicker carbodyplates, increased box-section height, and a wider carbody than found onstandard excavators provide increasedweight and load capacities.
Robot-welded Track Roller Frames.Press-formed, pentagonal units deliverexceptional strength and service life.
Upper Frame. Is specifically designedfor the scrap and material handlingmarket. It is built of higher strengthmaterial and thicker steel sectionsto handle the increased swing loadsdeveloped with the longer fronts andheavier counterweights used inmaterial handling.
• Boom tower doubler plates addreinforcement for increased sideloads and payloads.
• Box-section reinforcement of the caboutrigger frames support cab risers.
• Horizontal mounting plates providemore surface area for swing driveand swing bearing mounting bolts tohandle increased loads and movement.
• Outer frame utilizes curved side rails, which are die-formed, for excellentuniformity and strength throughoutthe length.
• Inverted U-channels span the widthof the main frame and are formed, rather than fabricated, for superiorstrength and reduced weight.
• Boom foot and engine mount areasare reinforced for additional strength.
• Sheet metal supporting structureis improved by integrating themounting into upper frame structure.
Idlers. Track Idlers are positioned lowerthan standard excavator idlers to helpbetter resist tipping over the front.
