Spatial analysis of poverty in the province of Lampung 1 Abstract Lampung Province has a poor population of 18.94 % of the total population of Lampung is reached 7,608,405 people and is divided into 14 districts / cities. Poverty in Lampung province are affected by variables other than social and economic variables are also thought to be influenced by the effects of spatial or territorial. This study uses a spatial model (Anseln, 1988) in modeling the poverty level using Rook contiguity weights. using 11 socioeconomic variables, the appropriate model for the Head Count Index in Lampung province is a model of Spatial Auto Regressive (SAR) or the Spatial Lag Models (SLM), although a single variable regression parameters are significant. when using only one significant socio-economic variables can be concluded that there is no spatial effect.
