eventually disappear, because there will be different
types of clothes. These clothes will be made of
paper, and will have strange shapes and you will only
be able to wear them once. Every day you will wear
new and more fashionable clothes.

Horchata
• The horchata used in Egypt. It was medicinal and
energetic. The chufa grew in Nile’s bank. The
horchata expanded to the Iberian peninsula.
• Its name come from a legend: A girl went to
king’s castle and she showed the horchata (but in
that time it knew like chufa’s milk)to the king
Jaume I.The king loved it and she said the name
of the drink, the king said: ’’Açò no ès llet, açò es
or, xata’’(this isn’t milk, this is gold, girl)
Horchata in the past
The production start with the washed of the chufa,
then the chufa is grinded.
Then, the tiger nut let up in maceration.
After that, we get the extract of the chufa.
And finally, we add sugar and water to the extract.
The traditional chufa from Valencia, concretly, from
ALBORAIA. We can buy the hochata in a lot of
places. In fact, there are specialised shops and Orxata’s
stand. There are a lot of brands like “mon orxata”,
“chufi” , “Hacendado”, “Orxata de Valencia”.
Horchata in the present
I think in the future, we will continue
makind the horchata with chufa, but with
specialised and advanced machines. In my
opinion the horchata production will not
change a lot in the future.

The river Turia
In 1957, Valencia lived one of the most
tragic episodes in its history. On
14th October 1957 the great flood of
Valencia flooded the city and killed about
one hundred people. The government of
Spain and the City of Valencia decided
that the Turia could not go through the
center of Valencia by the danger of
further flooding.
The river Turia in the past
Now, the old river is full of museums,
theatres...
and you can go to the park to play or
to do whatever you want, although
some parts don´t have anything, only
grass and some plants.
The river Turia in the present
I think that in the old Turia river it’s
going to have parks, hotels or some
houses and the plants and the grass will
be higher and I think it’s not going to
have water.
