THE CHALLENGE

Cadia Valley Operations is one of Australia’s largest mining operations 100% owned by Newcrest Mining Limited, the world’s top 5 mining companies, focused on maintaining low cost, growing reserves, and using capital efficiently, along with a vision to be the Miner of choice.

With many areas needing attention both above and below ground as well as overseas Space Logic arose to the challenge to partner with this globally recognised corporate company.

THE APPROACH

Space Logic produced multiple designs for each project including offsite warehousing, evaluating the storage requirements, the logistical flow of each situation, be it the large machinery work shop, or parts storage and palletised goods. All aspects for a complete solution where covered in the design, supply and installation by the Space Logic team.

THE RESULT

Newcrest were able to increase efficiency across all spectrums, initially from Space Logic major installations taking place with minimal interruptions and no production downtime, maximising the storage capacity and increasing time and motion efficiencies.
