Space is: A three dimensional (3/D) volume that can be
empty or full of objects.
Can you think of an example from your world?
Positive SpaceRepresents an
object or any of the subjects in an artwork.
Ex. A chair, person, etc..
Negative SpaceThe space around
or between any objects or subjects in the artwork.
Yellow is the negative space…

Either can be the negative space.
Deep Space
Shallow Space This one has depth, but
the other is deeper. One thing is in front of
another showing depth. (the third dimension)

Compared to the landscape this is a more shallow Space.
