Convenience may also come at a price. The 89 cent lamp you send your staff

LED or CFLWhich is best for your application?
Bargains usually come at a price! Be sure that you are buying a lamp or ballast
that is designed for your intended application.
CFL lamps may not be the best choice for outside locations, they are slow to start in cold
weather. Certain LED lamps are not dimmable. Others
may have orientation restrictions ( may not be suitable for use in a lamp facing down position,
or may not be useable in shrouded fixtures because of a lack of airflow in the fixture.
Check the facts before you buy.
Why buy Green Tip Fluorescent Lamps?
Green tip lamps are designed & engineered for lower wattage with higher light output and longer life. Additionally, they are lower in Mercury content & are therefore less hazardous.
Stick with known brands like: GE, Phillips, Sylvania or Westinghouse. These companies put money into research & development & stand behind
their products.
