Study Area B - Goals


• Reduce impervious Surface by 50%• Within that 30% landscape surface• Collect, store, treat water from street, ROW,

and adjacent structures• Allow for conveyance from Southside slopes• Make it visible and aesthetic• Priority to pedestrians


Study Area B – Design Achievements


• Reduces Impervious Area by 47%• Implements 30% Landscaped Area• Provides storage for 1 inch per hour rain event• Model Analysis indicates near 100% capture of CSO overflows for

the typical year– 1.67 million gallons per year

• Additional runoff is conveyed downstream. Does not enter combined sewer.
