The Wittunga Botanic Garden is located in the rolling landscape of the Adelaide Hills and offers spectacular views in a picturesque setting. Wedding ceremony sites are available throughout the garden, each with their own unique characteristics.

MAIN LAWNSThe sweeping lawns dotted with native gumtrees is an ideal location for any size ceremony.This larger venue is a sloping space allowinggood views for guests under partial shade, andlooks out across the main lake of the gardens.With close access to the main gates and carppark. Bridal party entrance is a dream.There are guest amenities adjacent to the lawnsfor convenience.
BIRD GARDENSThis sloping lawns provides views across thegardens and glimpses of the lake. Catering forsmall or large groups, the natural amphitheatreof the lawns provides good vantage points forguest enjoy the proceedings.Bridal party access can be from either the maingate or the pedestrian gate. Guest amenities areavailable near the pedestrian gate.
FIRE BANTo ensure the safety of visitors, the WittungaBotanic Garden follows the guidelines of theSouth Australian bushfire action plans.As part of this guideline, the Wittunga BotanicGarden may be closed on days of Fire Bans,which may be at short notice

It is recommended that you book your weddingsite 30 minutes prior to your ceremonycommencing to allow for set up and guestsarrival.
EXTENSION OF TIMEIf you would like to extend past your two hourperiod, $150 per 30 minutes or part of, willapply. If additional labour for organisation, set-up and breakdown is required, this may attractservice fees.
WITTUNGA BOTANIC GARDENSThe Botanic Garden is a public space which canhave other public and private events at the sametime, therefore we ask you and your guests togive consideration to other visitors. We will postsignage advising Garden visitors of your privateceremony.
CEREMONY SITESThe Gardens offer two wedding ceremonies siteswhich are changed annually. Your ceremonylocation may be moved at the discretion of BlancoFood & Events due to changes in public safety orsite preservation
THEMING AND DECORATIONSFlowers or decorative items cannot be attached toany structures, plants, or penetrate lawns due tounderground service, any additional equipmentmust be approved by venue and event co-ordinator.
CATERINGBlanco Food and Events has exclusive cateringrights at the Adelaide Botanic Garden and we canprovide a range of catering to help make yourceremony memorable.
BOOKINGSTentative bookings are held for 14 days. Bookingsare confirmed upon receipt of payment andcompleted registration form.
CANCELLATIONSIn the event of a cancellation, full refunds areprovided with more than 12 months notice orclosure of the Garden due to extenuatingcircumstances as decided by the Adelaide BotanicGardens. 50% of the fee will be refunded forcancellations made between 6 to 12 monthsnotice. Less than 6 months, fees are non-refundable.
CLEANINGPlease ensure that the site is left free of damageand litter. Rose petals, rice and confetti are notpermitted in the Garden. Fines and charges willapply if cleaning is required.
MUSICNo amplified music or loud music is permittedduring opening hours, without written approvalfrom the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Please contactEvent Coordinator to discuss.
LIQUOR LICENCEBlanco Food and Events practises responsibleservice of alcohol in accordance with The 1997Liquor Licence Act. All extended time and alcoholservice is at the discretion of the functionsupervisor.
VEHICLE ACCESSThe Adelaide Botanic Gardens,(South AustralianGovernment Department for Environment andHeritage) has strict policies regarding vehicleaccess.
Wedding or private vehicles are not permittedinto any of the Garden. Please ensure yourwedding car drivers are aware of loading zoneand parking regulations at the Garden. Finesapply.If you have deliveries for your reception,conditional access may be granted during specifictimes. Discuss with the Wedding CeremonyCoordinator your requirements as early aspossible as permits may be required.
COMPLIANCE & RESPONSIBILITYIt is understood that the organiser will conductthe function in an orderly manner in fullcompliance with the Adelaide Botanic Gardens,(Department for Environment and Heritage)policies, regulations and with all laws, which areamended from time to time. Blanco food andevents will not accept any responsibility for thedamage or loss of merchandise left prior to orafter the ceremony. Organisers should arrangetheir own insurance if necessary.
Blanco Food & Events applies the specificguidelines, policies and procedures of theAdelaide Botanic Gardens. By signing the bookingform you are accepting both terms andconditions and the broader guidelines andpolicies of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.
