Install Windows 2000/2003 Server 2. Give the System Name as ERP 3. Partition the Hard disk, The SAP Installation partition should be minimum 75GB free space 4. Install the Motherboard Drives 4. Change the system date to future year so that SAP will run upto that date . This software will work for month from the date of installation. For example , Current Date : 12.10.2004 Change the system date to 12.10.2005 Grace period for SAP is 12.10.2005 +30 After complete installation change system date to current date, SAP 4.7 will run up to 12.10.2005 + 29 days with out expiry of licence. 5. Install the Network Adapter and assign an IP Address, If ur system is a Stand alone System Add Micro Soft Loop back Adapter Start->Settings->Control Panel-> Add/Remove New hardware -> Next-> Add or Troubleshoot a device-> select Add New Device->Next->Select No, I want to select the hardware from the list- >Next->select Network Adapters-> Next-> Select the Manufacturer Microsoft -> Microsoft Loop back Adapter->next -> Finish Loop back Adapter Installation

Increase Virtual Memory to Initial Size. 2048Maximum Size 2560
Click on Set thenok - ok
6. 1st Step towards installation : Our operating system is loaded in drive C: and we want to install SAP on D: Drive
a. Create One folder named as 47ides in D:\ (D:\47ides)Copy the first CD (db1) to D:\47idesCopy the contents of 2nd to 7th CDs into D:\47IDES\db1\EXPORT1\DATAThe Size of the db1 should be 3.89GB
b. Copy the 8th CD(db2) into D:\47IDESCopy the contents of 9th to 14th th CDs into D:\47IDES\db2\EXPORT2\DATAThe Size of the db2 should be 4.25GB
c. Copy the 15th CD's db3 into D:\4.7idesCopy the 16th and 17th CD contents into D:\47ides\db3\Export3\DATAThe size of the db3 should be 1.83GB
d. Run the Oracle Setup D:\47ides\Oracle\Nt\i386\sapserver.bat
Nextnext-----Here it load the Oracle, After Installation Completed Successfully----.- Exit
Note :- (At the time of installation of oradba.exe , a dialog box will be pop up for installation of net8 configuration, check the check box for typical configuration of net8 click net , it will end the oracle installation)
Restart the System.
e. Run the j2sdk-1_4_1_05-windows-i586.exe from the Kernel CDIt will install java C:\j2sdk
Assign the Java paths in My Computer -> Control Panel -> System properties-Advanced Environment Variables
In the User Variable for Administrator
Click on NEW
Variable Name : JAVA_HOMEVariable Vaule : C:\J2SDK( This is Java Installed Directory)
Click OK
Under System VariableSelect Path - EditAdd C:\J2sdk\bin at the end of the existing path
