In the Social Network pilot, Historypin represents a member of the creative industry leveraging Europeana content. Historypin has seen interest from other cultural institutions and has been able to extend the platform in two ways:

• Software as Service – allowing cultural institutions to use Historypin as a collecting and enrichment platform, with added service such as custom design

• Increasing scale – using the infrastructure to host 100s of First Wold War community projects on the Centenary Hub (www.historypin.org/firstworldwar )
