T here’s a girl who has aspirations to share her creative gifts with the world. She has a strong desire to dedicate all she has to God and to make a powerful impact on her community. Having a deep-rooted concern for the struggle that

she witnesses in the faces of her peers and also having an understanding of how creativity on all levels can inspire unity and plant seeds of healing and hope transcending gender, cultural, and racial barriers, she’s determined to pioneer a movement that will encourage and provide a stage for young women like her to glorify God through creative expression.

Soul La Femme is the stage on which young women and women who are young at heart can actively and creatively nurture their gifts in a way that will build a sense of support and community, preparing them to be visionaries and disciples for Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).

THE HISTORY...Soul La Femme, Inc. was created in January, 2010 by The SkyLounge Events which is the sister company to SkyLounge Design Group LLC, which specializes in providing fresh and dynamic graphic design services to Christian music artists, churches, non-profit organizations and small businesses. The visionaries Rashawn “SheFlowz” Tucker and “Kyla Simone” Hayden, both Christian recording music artists themselves, felt a burning desire to start a movement of empowerment for women, thus, SLF was born.

THE MISSION...Our mission is to create an avenue for young women ages 16-35 to pursue their various creative gifts by providing support, mentorship, resources, programs, and opportunities that will enhance their skills, build character, encourage positive values, address needs, and inspire success.

In August, 2011 Soul La Femme, Inc. will be holding our 2nd Annual night of elegance and expression which is a concert and networking experience which features Christian music artists, poets, dancers, and celebrates women

entrepreneurs by providing vendor space for them to promote their business, organization, and/or service. On the pages that follow you will view photos of our 1st Annual event that was held on Saturday, August 7th 2010. This event was very successful and such a blessing.
