Landmark Sotheby’s International Realty and Sotheby’s International Realty –East Side Manhattan Brokerage tapped into the power of the Sotheby’s
International Realty brand and collaborated to sell a high-profile property in
Wilmington, North Carolina. The property was the backdrop for “Grayson
Manor” on ABC’s popular television drama Revenge. As a widely recognized local
landmark, the seller felt that the home needed to be represented by the Sotheby’s
International Realty network. The seller, who was based in New York City, reached
out to Nick Phillips of Landmark Sotheby’s International Realty and additionally
requested that the property be co-marketed with an agent in Manhattan. New
to the brand and coming fresh off the 2014 Sotheby’s International Realty Global
Networking Event, Phillips understood that the request would be possible thanks
to the reach of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. He spoke to Philip
White, president and chief executive officer of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC, and was connected with Stan Ponte of Sotheby’s International
Realty –East Side Manhattan Brokerage. Together they crafted a marketing plan
to present to the seller and won the listing. The property sold earlier this summer
and was the largest single transaction in the Wilmington regional market in the
past three years; the home closed for $4,850,000 usd.

their own blog, Bellevue & Beyond, using their own listings and making it relevant to their market. To
