i= z W America (the real and true America) rests on the dem-(J) ocratic tradition of the voting process. So, despite all that t§ Conservative legislators in Florida and in other states g: have done to discourage residents from registering to 0 vote and voting, we plead with prospective voters and ~ with veteran voters not to surrender.
Right now, the right to vote, especially in the state of Florida, is under severe attack. From requirements to produce a state issued identification card to reducing the expiration dates for validating a voter's signature on citizen-led petitions, so-called Republican-Conservatives have enacted laws whose bottom-line is to cripple the voter turn-out.
Republicans are already crowing that their job has been well-done. But we and Frederica Wilson don't think so.
United States Representative Frederica Wilson (D. Miami) is very busy, these days. From morning until night, she knocks on doors and speaks before crowds urging them all to vote from (absentee ballot). Indeed, her plea has merit.
For, as Wilson explains, when prospective voters request absentee ballots from local Elections supervisors, voters will not need a state identification card, which reminds us of dirty tricks played against Black Americans throughout the South in an effort to keep them from voting.
Therefore, we applaud Rep. Frederica Wilson and her ~ Paul Revere ride to save our most precious right: the o::t w right to vote. And if we can vote from home, we can side-(!) step those individuals who would love to send us back to ~ the slavery of political segregation.

Joe Frazier: The Death 01 Gemini
I never met Joe Frazier. But a friend of mine met him. It was the week after .the night that stopped the world. I, of course, am· referring to the first of three bloody and brutal boxing matches where Joe Frazier met Muhammad Ali. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
My friend was a life insurance salesman, and one of his customers was none other than ~mokin' Joe himself. But this time, when my friend went to collect Joe's insurance payment, he found Joe in a Philadelphia hospital bed. Said my friend, Joe looked like a mummy ~th his head swollen up like a basketball. But what my friend remembered most about what he saw were the countless tiny cuts that covered Smokin' Joe's face, as if someone had taken after him with a razor.
Said my buddy, "Them's was marks from the gloves of Ali that went upside Joe's head like · a pepper shaker. Yep," said my friend, "Ali lost tl1e match, but Joe Frazier lost the fight!"
But although Muhanunad Ali did, indeed, lose his first fight against the implacable Smokin' Joe Frazier, what was born during tl1e days that
led up to their fight and during the months and years that followed that first night, was a legend more durable and fascinating than anything ancient Greece, or Rome could produce.
Romulus and Remus! Achilles and Hector! Right versus Wrong! Night versus Day! Good versus Bad! The G<>rilla versus the Bumble Bee. Neither the author of the Biblical verses that introduced the · two feuding brothers Cain and Abel, nor Homer, the great Greek poet who spun a yarn about the men who fought for the walls of Troy, could have dreamed of a jealousy so grand as the one that grew like a mighty tree be- · tween Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali.
Joe Frazier was squat and Black ... built like an African army tank with bulldozer fists and a heart that pumped crude-oil. People said when Joe stepped into the ring and eyed his opponent; he smiled a most terrible smile that sent ice-shivers down the spines of everybody who sat on the first row.
So, he left Beaufort, North Carolina and went to live on the icy streets of North Philadelphia where fighting
was the daily way of saying "Hello." He went there and, like Achilles, grew tough as pig-iron on Philadelphia's day-old bread and rancid meat. He wor_1.- a place on the Olympics, went to the games and knocked boxers from Russia to China out of the boxing ring. .
Then Joe came home to America, a junior rendition of a legendary John Henry. And he met his light-skinned, fast-talking, arrogant, Muslim brother ... the twin they called Muhammad Ali. And to-
. gether, he and Frazier would not only rewrite the history of boxing, but the two of them would redesign how Black men throughout the world regarded themselves and each other, from then until now.
Yes, in essence, Joe Frazier became a god . . . an Olympian god. People did not refer to Joe in. the past-tense. For, gods are by right, immortal. And so was (is) Joe Frazier. Like James Brown, little Richard, Jim Brown, Aretha Franklin, and countless others who were .born, but on their label was no date of destruction or return, Joe Frazier must live forever. Do you dig what I be saying?
And now, he's dead. Joe Frazier passed away from this world because his liver gave out. Had we known, most certainly someone of us would have stepped forward and volunteered our liver for one who must live forever.
No? Well, then, the next clear night, when you look up at the stars, toward the constellation'Geinini, and you realize something is missing, you'll know what we lost. And you'll know why I weep.

Too Manv People When they made the an
nouncement Monday morning, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. According to demographers, the Earth's population had reached an astounding 7 billion people.
To put that into perspective, they estimated that in 1901 Earth's total population hovered somewhere around 1
billion. That means that from the time man hit the scene thousands of years ago through either creation or evolution (take your pick) until the beginning of the 20th century, not all of humankind equaled up to the number of people who currently reside in China alone. Now, in little more than a hundred years (a blink of an eye in terms of time) we've increased our numbers six-fold.
Being an entrepreneur at heart, the first thing that crossed my mind when I focused on that figure was how much income I could earn through a business that could generate 1 dollar from just one-tenth of one percent of all those individuals? No need to find a calculator. I already know the answer. Seventy million. More than enough money to transform me into one of those eccentric millionaires you see walking his Pomeranian down Bayshore Boulevard, wearing cut-off shorts, dirty flip-flops and sporting one of
those big straw, "I don't give a damn what you think, I'm RICH!" hats.
My second thought, though, was a little more mundane. I wondered, what happens next? I mean, regardless of how lightly the media is playing the issue, there is no doubt that the powers-that-be are taking this thing very seriously.
For years, there has been concern about overpopulation. Environmentalists have long declared that the planet's natural resources were being stressed by an ever-increasing number of inhabitants. So the fact that we've hit the 7 billion mark and are projected to reach 9 billion in another 30 years can't be good news for the gatekeepers of society.
Now that the nations around the world have tried everything from limiting families to one child, incarcerating large numbers of undesirables and promoting embryocide under the guise of so-called Planned Parenthood, you have to wonder what new contingency plan is in place to make an even more drastic attempt to thin the herd?
You have to believe something is in the works. It wasn't long ago that theN ative Americans were the population that needed to be "managed." Look at how that turned out for them. That same mentality
still exists today. And it isn't out of the realm of possibility that history could repeat itself on an even larger scale.
As far-fetched as it may sound, if things really got out of control, I wouldn't be surprised if some deadly viral infection mysteriously began to spread across the globe within the next 5 to 10 years. An illness similar to the bubonic plague or Spanish influenza. Something capable of wiping out large segments of humanity in a short period of time.
The biological weaponry already exists to make it happen. And with the threat of not having enough food to feed everybody in the future lurking in the minds of decision makers, the justification is in· place as well.
But, of course, I'm only speculating. Fueling the flames of conspiracy with a little of my own gas.
In truth, I'm more inclined to believe that any problem . with overpopulation will be taken care of through a natural process. In fact, with hurricanes, tsunamis, floods, earthquakes and tornadoes ripping apart highly populated areas with increasing frequency, our problem may not be overpopulating the Earth, but how much time we have left before the Earth takes the initiative of making even the possibility of over populating it a non-issue.

Senator Responds To Governor's Appeal ·ot
Drug Testing lniunction TALLAHASSEE - Last
week, Senate Democratic Leader Pro Tern Arthenia Joyner (D-Tampa) sharply criticized Republican Governor Rick Scott's decision to appeal the temporary court injunction against mandatory drug testing for needy families seeking emergency government help. And, she renewed her call on Scott and Republican Attorney General Pam Bondi to stop relying on flawed information manufac- . tured by a close ally of the governor to defend the controversial testing law.
"The governor is wasting precious taxpayer dollars in an expensive quest for vindication," said Senator Joyner, who has .sponsored legislation to repeal the drug testing law. "He needs to remember he took an oath to uphold the Constitution, not trample on it."
At the crux of the court
SENATORARTHENIA JOYNER
challenge is legislation supported by the Republican-controlled Legislature and signed earlier this year by Governor Scott, requiring every applicant for modest cash benefits under Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to submit to a drug test.
A Navy veteran and single father who refused to submit to the test challenged the constitutionality of the new law.

Local Confusion About Roundabout Prompts
Second Communitv Meeting BY IRIS B. HOLTON Sentinel City Editor
On Thursday, several m~mbers of the community attended the Community Redevelopment Agency meeting. Their concern was the proposed East Tampa Round About and issues pertaining to it.
Ed Johnson, East Tampa Development Manager for the City of Tampa said a meeting was held and the roundabout was approved by a lS-6 vote.
At the heart of the issue is the purchase of a house that stands in the path of the proposed construction, a house the owner is willing to sell. Johnson said the house was appraised at $28,000, but the owner was requesting $6s,ooo.
Johnson said the purchase of the house was not addressed because the roundabout had to be approved first.
Ms. Evangeline Best,
former Chairman of the East Tampa Community Revitalization Partnership, said that information provided at that time pertaining to the cost of the house was confusing.
"We asked for more documentation and we voted not to purchase the house given the new information. We were not given the whole story."
Curtis Brown said, "I think the figures Mr. Johnson have presented to you are wrong and we never wanted this roundabout. I agree the money needs to be spent on more important projects."
Brown further stated that he had a petition with the signatures of so people who were against having a roundabout at that location.
Pastor' Thomas Scott, former Chairman of the City Council said, "My phone has been ringing off the hook, and petitions have been presented to me against this project. I think the Council
needs more information. We need to see if this project can be done without spending this kind of money. Information is important, and I'm not sure if all of the information has been made available."
Mrs. Gwen Miller, former City Council Chairperson said, "I've gotten many calls about this roundabout, and I ask that you listen to these people about why they don't want this and v.ote accordingly."
Ms. Sybil Andrews, publisher of the Sentinel, said, "There are a lot of things the commimity needs that incluc,le sidewalks, lighting, and curbs, rather than spending 1. 7 million.
"I have been at my job for 3S years and there has never been a problem with the flow of traffic at that intersection."
The CRA board decided to take no action and instructed Essie Simms, new East Tampa Chair to have another community meeting.
Controversv Surrounds Child . Missing Inside School For 6 Hours
BY IRIS B. HOLTON Sentinel City Editor
Wednesday afternoon, a 1s-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy was reported missing from Progress Village Middle School. She was located about 6 hours later by a custodian on the school campus.
Mrs. Carolyn Collins, President of the Hillsborough County Branch of the NAACP, said, "My telephone began blowing up from anonymous callers last night while I was in a meeting. People were concerned that the proper action had not been taken in handling the missing child.
"I was told that school personnel left before this child was safely located. I put forth the effort to contact the Chairman of the School Board, the School Administration, and I contacted the school. I was told there was an emergency going on at the school, when I called.
"But, as of this conversation, I have not been able to talk to .anyone about what happened."
On Thursday morning, an anonymous caller contacted the Sentinel and said that the child was upset because
she had received an unacceptable report card. When her father arrived to sign her out of school, the secretary contacted her classroom, but the child never came to the office.
The caller said the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office was contacted and sent a helicqpter, but were told that the girl had probably run away.
The caller further stated that the school personnel left at the end of the day before the child was located. Around 7 p.m., a custodian found the girl inside a room adjacent to the gymnasium. The caller said the child was unconscious when located and taken to the hospital.
Larry McKinnon, spokesman for the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office, said that 8 or 9 deputies searched the area for the child for a couple of hours. He further stated that the room where she was located had been searched early and she was not there at the time the search was conducted.
Ms. Linda Cobbe, spokesperson for the School District said she was told that the girl had quarreled with her father over a cell phone
and was upset. "The school personnel
and deputies searched the school and went into that room three times, but she was not there. The principal and another person went on the bus and talked to other students."
Ms. Cobbe said it is untrue that everyone left because the school is never unoccupied. She also said that her book bag was located and given to her father, who was in the office the entire time the search was underway.
"She was found in the Harp Room by a custodian around 6:30 p.m., huddled und~r a blanket in the corner and she was not immediately responding. But, she did respond to, EMT personnel. The school's Assistant Principal and Guidance Counselor were there when she was found.
"The school took this incident seriously and they are convinced that she was hiding. She was back in school today and the principal did speak to her," Ms. Cobbe said.
The Sentinel was unable to contact the family of the student.

GENERAL JESSE DAVIS
JUNO (Daughter) And JESSE DAVIS
Mr. Jesse Davis says, 'Thank God, Pres. Obama is bringing the boys home.'
I am 88 years old and thank God I'm here to see the first Black president. · ***
Group Wants Black Veterans To Organize For Common Good Throughout history, African Americans have fought and died in
battles for this country. In fact, Crisp us Attucks became one of the first persons to die in Revolutionary Wars that raged on between the Thirteen Colonies and Great Britain from 1775 until1783.
African Ameri~s have been fighting and dying for this country for nearly as long as there has been a country. However, some Veterans in the Tampa area are frustrated with the treatment that Veterans in general, and Black Veterans, in particular are getting. The group consists. of: Shawn White, Ms. Hazel Johnson, Jesse Davis, Steve Hill and Kerry Helms. They all feel that a lack of knowledge is often the culprit when it comes to rights and benefits. .
Ms. Hazel Johnson, has been receiving benefits from the Vet-: erans Administration since 1968. She has never served one day in the military. However, her only child, Norris Felton J~hnson gave his life for· his country during the Viet N am Conflict. .
Mrs. Johnson had no idea at the time that her only son and only child was supposed to be exempt from serving in the war. But, his death on January 10, 1968, deprived· her of seeing her son live beyond his 20 years or ever being a grandmother.
She credits Sumner J ; Wllson with ensuring that she at least received benefits. ·
"Many of those who fought in wars return from the battlefield disabled. But, many people don't know what a disability is and the system makes the process so puzzling that many just give up," Steve Hill, who is a veteran said.
"If someone doesn't lead that person in the right direction, he will never get the benefits he deserves," "Hill said.
Seventy-five-year-old, Jesse Davis fought in four battles during his tenure in the military. But, he learned about his benefits "and takes advantage .of whatever benefits are available" to him . "We have been fighting wars for something that is not ours. And tliey treat us like we can go sit in the doghouse until the next war . We are never recognized properly as Veterans or as Blacks," said Kerry Helms.
"I just want to encourage Black Veterans ·to get involved. As Blacks, we go all around the world bleeding for white people and when we come home, there's no blood for us ."·
The group contends that miseducation is a big factor in those wlio have served in the Armed Services who are not receiving benefits due to them. This group wants to do something about the problem, they seek to combine their efforts with other Veterans and make a change for the better.
"If we don't address the problem now, our children won't have a future," they said.

Since retiring from the boxing ring, Corey "King Cobra" Felton has been involved in various forms of entertainment, including Gospel and promoting some local singing and rapping talent. Eddie. Murohv Follows Bren Ratner And Quits Oscar Gig
~ 0 a: u.
Eddie Murphy has bowed out of his gig as host of the Academy Awards, following pal Brett Ratner's decision to leave the show as producer because of an uproar over a gay slur.
The news of Murphy's departure came Wednesday, a day after Ratner quit as producer of the Feb. 26 show.
Ratner left amid criticism of his use of a pejorative term for gay men in a question-and-answer session at a screening of his action comedy "Tower Heist," which opened last weekend and stars Murphy and Ben Stiller.

MJ's Doctor Convicted
DR. CONRAD MURRAY And MICHAEL JACKSON
Michael Jackson's doctor was convicted Monday of involuntary manslaughter after a trial that painted him as a reckless caregiver who administered a lethal dose of propofol that killed MJ.
The verdict against Dr. Conrad Murray marked the latest chapter in one of pop culture's most shocking tragedies -- the death of the King of Pop on the eve of the singer's heavily promoted comeback concerts.
The jury deliberated less than 9 hours. Murray, 58, faces a sentence of up to four years in prison. He could also lose his medical license.
The . ;most shocking moments, however, came when prosecutors displayed a large picture of Jackson's gaunt, lifeless body on a hospital
gurney and played the sound of his drugged, slurred voice, recorded by Murray weeks before the singer's death.
Jackson talked about plans for a children's hospital and cementing a legacy larger than that of Elvis Presley or The Beatles.
Jackson was found not breathing in his own bed in his rented mansion.

Tvler Perrv Faces Fan Backlash over Kim Kardashian Casting
Last month Tyler Perry announced that Kim Kardashian would be co-starring in his new film The Marriage Counselor.
Fans of Perry are finding it ironic that Kardashian will be lending her talents to a film about marriage, after the publicized split from her ex Kris Humphries.
Perry has long been known for connecting with his strong and loyal fan base through his personal website. He often updates projects, releases personal
statements and even responds to comments from the site's members.
TylerPerry.com is flooded with countless pages of his loyal supporters expressing outrage in Kardashian taking part in his project.
Some of Perry's long term supporters, many of whom are religiously conservative, have spoken up and said this is the final straw. A few are even threatening to never support any of his future projects unless he rethinks his casting decision.

WILLIAM LILLIE
At 2:45 a. m. Tuesday, Tampa Police reported that as
' patrons were leaving Club Manilla on 7th Avenue, shots were fired. During the gunfire, five people were shot in the parking lot.
Two of the victims were transported to a local hospital, and the three others transported themselves. Police said four of the victims have non-life threatening injuries, but one is reported to be in serious, but stable condition.
The five people shot were Reginald McCray, 30; · William Lillie, 25; Norvis Heflin, 29; Ernest Everett, III, 19,.andJamarl Pringle, 22, who was seriously injured.
· According to a source who was inside the lounge prior to
·the shooting, the incident started inside.
"The lights had come on, and as people were going out, a shoving match started with a couple of people. It couldn't have lasted anymore than 15 seconds. The next thing I know, I hear all these gunshots coming from outside.
"The first thing I looked for were the police, and they got their quickly."
Tamp& Police Department spokesperson, Andrea Davis, said an officer was in the midst of the shooting and
NOR VIS HEFLIN·
saw nothing because there were so many people.
Freddie Shellman, who has been a part of Club Manilla for decades ,
ERNEST EVERETT, III
JAMARL PRINGLE
said he was not at the club Monday night, and that was intentional.
"Monday nights are called "Manilla Man Monday," but others call it "Thug Night" because of the patrons that come. Every Monday, close to 1,000 people come and last week, the Fire Marshal came by and didn't allow patrons to enter because capacity had already been met. There were also 8 security people inside the club."
Shellman said the large Monday night crowds have been commonplace for almost 20 years, and this is the first time something like this has happened.
"The crowd doesn't gather until midnight, and from there, it just grows," said Shellman.
Detectives have analyzed surveillance video and have interviewed witnesses. No suspect information has been released at this time.
Tampa Police reported that at 12:40 a. m. Wednesday, two men were sitting in their vehi
. cle in the parking lot of the Charpal's Lounge, 3711 East Busch Boulevard.
Police said Justin Smith, 26, was in the driver's seat and Daniel Santiago, 19, was in the front passenger seat. Both had their doors According to the report, three armed Black males approached from behind Smith's vehicle·, with one of them pointing a gun at Smith, reportedly telling him to give· up everything he had. A second suspect went to the passenger side of the vehicle and pointed a handgun at Santiago.
Police said Smith gave one of the suspects money and was trying to remove his watch when he was struck in the mouth with the handgun. That caused the handgun to slip out of the suspect's hand and fall into Smith's lap.
Smith reportedly picked up the firearm, and police said that's when another suspect shouted "shoot them."

is used for this week's lesson gives the believers an insight and instruction on how to treat people. God sets a clear standard and expectation for how the people of the body of Christ must carry themselves and respond to the situations of life. For some, living the life that is described in this text is difficult.
Jesus opens this section by addressing a law that was given by Moses. It was not His intent to say that the law was incorrect or should not be followed, but provide His

trying to convey was that even when people do you hurt or harm, you do not have to seek revenge; God will fight for you. This does not suggest that you cannot defend yourself; it only says you do not have to seek revenge on individuals.
This next verse points to the value of material possessions. He says that if a person asks for your tunic, let him also have your cloak (vs. 40). The tunic is an inner garment of their wardrobe and cloak is considered to be the outer garment that protects the inner garment.
Because people did not have a large wardrobe, keeping what they had was necessary. But when it comes to your service for God, these things are not worth fighting for. If that is what they want give it to them. Your life is more than the clothes you wear. It is better to please God than to hold on to stuff

that will eventually fade away.
He makes His point more poignant. Jesus shows the contrast of how they are living based upon what they heard of old versus what He is teaching. He teaches a key component of the righteousness of God that separates believers from the world; love. The love of the church must be different from the love of the world.
Jesus instructs His followers to love those who persecute you, those who are your enemies, and those who hurt you. It would be expected to hate or not love a person who has done these things . But God wants to show a more perfect love by teaching us to love them too!
It is no glory to God for the church to just love those who are lovable. He says even the sinner does that (vs. 47). The church is called to do what the world cannot or will not do. He wants the church to show a more perfect love.
It is God's desire that His people show the world the love He has for His people through their love of the unlovable. The people of God are compelled to show the world a more perfect standard of living. Do more than

A lot of people will be traveling during the upcoming holiday seasons.
Here are a few tips that will help keep , you healthy while on the plane.
The Problem: Dry Cabin Air
The low humidity in airplane cabins tends to dry out the sensitive mucus membranes in the upper airways where viruses and bacteria can take hold.
A Few Things You Might What To Do:
• Keep drinking (healthy beverages, of course). Ideally, have 8 ounces of water or fruit juice for each hour of your trip.
• Consider skipping drinks that may be made from airline tap water, such as coffee or tea.
• Also, ask for your drinks without iee when traveling from countries where water safety is questionable.

Breath Odor Herbs. Fresh herbs like
parsley, peppermint and spearmint, are nature's version of a dinner mint: The strong oils contained within them help to overpower nose-offending scents.
If your bad breath just won't go away, see a dentist.
Body Odor Citrus Fruits. Citrus,
such as lemons and oranges, can help limit musky smells that may be lingering on your skin. The acids in citrus fruits help flush water through your body. And because citrus contains fiber, they move through your system slowly and flush out toxins that contribute to body odors.
White Fish. Red meat is associated with bad body odor, because it is more difficult for your body to digest. As the body breaks down the proteins in meat, your skin produces unpleasant odors. That doesn't happen when you digest fish.
Foot Odor Apple Cider Vinegar. ·
Apple cider vinegar kills bacteria and dries excess sweat, the two causes of foot odor. To remove foul odors from your feet , add a 112 cup of apple cider vinegar to a quart of lukewarm water and soak feet for 20 minutes; repeat twice a week, if necessary.
Cornstarch. Cornstarch is a good fix for feet because the powder absorbs excess moisture and neutralizes odor. Beat the stink by sprinkling cornstarch into your shoes when you get home.
Tea. The tannic acids found in both green and black teas will help keep your feet dry, thus preventing the root of your foot odor problem: perspiration. To help keep feet sweat-free, make a pot of tea and pour it into a tub big enough to fit both feet in. Once it has cooled, soak feet for 10 minutes. Since the tannins in tea are less drying than the acids in vinegar, you can try this remedy once a day. Note: Tea leaves may stain skin, b.ut a quick wash with soap and water will remove discoloration.
If you work in an office, then there are times when you're surrounded by sneezing and sniffling people and you all breath the same air.
While you may not be able to completely prevent colds and flu this time of year, practicing good hygiene and being ca'reful to avoid cold germs may help.
Flu Shot. Getting a flu shot is a great way to protect yourself against flu viruses.
Wash Your Hands. Simply washing your hands properly and frequently will help to get rid of cold germs you pick up from doorknobs, telephones, and keep them out of your body.
Wipe Down Germs. Take some time when you clean up your office to wipe down germy areas - light switches, doorknobs, telephones, your computer -with a clean!ng product.
Keep Your Hands Off Your Face. To prevent cold and flu viruses, don't touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with your hands. And encourage others not to touch their eyes, nose, or mouth with their hands - this is how germs get inside you to grow into an upper respiratory infection. That will also help prevent cold and flu viruses .from spreading.
Hydrate. General good health practices keep your body strong and ready to fend off cold germs and the flu virus. And that includes drinking plenty of water. Staying hydrated may boost a particular immune response to enable your body to better fight the viruses.
Work It Out. Exercise not only makes you feel· great and helps you stay fit, but it also boosts your immune system and can help prevent cold and flu viruses from making you sick. And warding off extra weight is important for overall health, and particularly helps to prevent flu and cold viruses from infecting you.
Take Probiotics. Probiotics are "good" bacteria that can help keep the body healthy and protect it from "bad" bacteria- and there's · even some thought that taking probiotics may help to prevent cqld and flu viruses.
Make Friends With Hand Sanitizer. Realistically, you can't always get to a sink when you need to wash germs off of your hands. So keeping a bottle of hand sanitizer handy is a good idea to help disinfect hands and prevent flu and cold viruses.
Eat Well. A healthy diet can strengthen your immune system - and belp you prevent flu and cold viruses from attacking.

Whole Grains
They're loaded with zinc, which is vital for maintaining a healthy immune system.
Try whole-grain spaghetti with tomato sauce or brown rice with veggies.

Fourth woman Accuses Cain 01 Reaching For Her Genitals
Herman Cain on Monday of making an unwanted sexual advance against her, saying she wanted to provide "a face and a voice" to support other accusers who have so far remained anonymous.
"Come clean," Sharon · Bialek challenged Cain, demanding he confess to any inappropriate behavior with her or other women. She is the first to go public with her allegations.
Cain's campaign instantly issued a denial. "All allegations of harassment against Mr. Cain are false," it said.

male audience member following a speech he delivered nine years ago.
Donna Donella, 40, of Arlington, said the USAID paid Cain to deliver a speech to businessmen and women in Egypt in 2002, during which an Egyptian businesswoman in her 30s asked Cain a question.
"And after the seminar was over," Donella told The Washington Examiner, "Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, 'Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more tho'fough answer over dinner?'"
Donella, who no longer works for USAID, said they were suspicious of Cain's motives and declined to set up the date. Cain responded, "Then you and I can have dinner. " That's when two female colleagues intervened and suggested they all go to dinner together, Donella said.
Cain exhibited no inappropriate sexual behavior during the dinner, though he did order two $400 bottles of wine and stuck the women with the bill, she said.

Supreme coon To look At life In
Prison For Juveniles

Both cases were brought by the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Ala. The institute said that life without parole for children so young "is cruel and unusual" and violates the Constitution.
The group says roughly six dozen people in 18 states are under life sentences and ineligible for parQle for crimes they committed at 13 or 14.

Breastfeeding helps me build a speCial bond with my mommy. My mother's

• Burns calories, helping my mom's body return to its pre-pregnancy· weight
more quickly
• Reduces the likelihood of me developing childhood obesity
Mom, I want you to know you can breastfeed me - anyt ime, anywhere.
