Sports (of course!)

I give credit to sports for my competitiveness as well as teamwork and collaboration skills.

I also follow my hometown Philadelphia Phillies, 76ers, and Eagles closely!

Baseball

Baseball is my favorite sport to play and watch.

The pace of the game and the stat-crunching fit my personality well.

I like to follow MLB transactions and trade rumors.

I joke sometimes that If I were not pursuing engineering, I would find my way into an MLB front office.

Geography

Reading and studying maps has always been a hobby of mine.

The study of physical geography and how it may affect political, behavioral and economic geography fascinates me.

With these in mind, I think that Google Maps and Google Earth are some of the greatest things the internet has to offer.

Travel

I find it very exciting to visit new cities, especially after studying their geographical characteristics.

I also enjoy observing scenery, both urban and natural, that one can see on the way.

I think that transcontinental rail and highway systems are a modern wonder of the world and are crucial to improving living standards.

Music

I took piano lessons as well as performed between the ages of 5 and 13.

I credit my music education as a source of discipline and preparation.

I learned how to play several keyboard instruments through marching band in both high school and some of college.

Today, I use music as a way to decompress whenever I may experience stress or anxiety.
