Macrolepiota sp. – one of the largest Chiquibul fungi, its name still needs to be found. Geastrum saccatum – an “earthstar”, the spore powder has been used to heal the umbilical cord of newborns. Cyathus berkeleyanus – a “bird’s nest fungus” that is widespread in the tropics. Hydnodon thelephorum Lepiota erythrosticta Pleurotus flabellatus Panaeolus phalaenarum – found on dung. Lentaria surculus - widespread on wood in the tropics. Ramariopsis kuntzei found in both temperate and tropical areas.
