SOLOdriveSOLOdrive offers industry-best Natural Dimming to dark - LEDdimming made beautiful! With any dimmer, in any application.Symbiosis ensures the LED driver works seamlessly together with LEDmodules, controls and intelligent luminaire elements.
Features & benefitsNatural dimming Dim to dark, smooth brightness
Typical flicker percent as a function of frequency, measured acrossthe dimming range. The results are overlaid with the low-risk (yellow)and no observable effect (green) levels as defined in IEEE P1789.
Tested with connected LED load of 13 LEDs in series, programmedfor 1,400mA and at 25 ºC ambient temperature. The measurementsbelow 50W were performed by dimming the light output.

LED driver protection
Thermal The LED output current is decreasedwhenever the internal LED drivertemperature exceeds factory presettemperature. The LED output current isincreased again once the internalLED driver temperature drops belowthis internal temperature threshold. Ifthe internal LED driver temperaturecontinues to increase, despite adecrease in output current, theLED driver will shut down.
LED output short circuit The LED output current is cut offwhenever the LED driver detects ashort-circuit. The LED driver willattempt a restart every 400ms after ashort-circuit is detected.
LED output overload The LED driver decreases the LEDoutput current sequentially, until itreaches its maximum rated power, whenever a load that exceeds theLED driver's maximum rated power isconnected to the LED output.
Reverse polarity The LED driver will not yield anycurrent if the polarity of the load on theLED output is reversed. This situationwill not damage the LED driver but maydamage the LED load.
Thermal protection LED An external NTC thermistor, which isplaced on a PCB near the LEDs, canbe connected to the driver via theLEDcode/NTC terminals. The outputcurrent to the LEDs is then decreasedby 75% whenever the NTC exceeds amaximum allowable temperature, which is specified by the user in theFluxTool software. The default NTCtemperature limit is set to 70 °C.

Risk of electrical shock. May result in serious injury ordeath. Disconnect power before servicing or installing.
The LED driver may only be connected and installed by aqualified electrician. All applicable regulations, legislation, and building codes must be observed. Incorrect installationof the LED driver can cause irreparable damage to the LEDdriver and the connected LEDs. Pay attention when connecting the LEDs: polarity reversalresults in no light output and often damages the LEDs.
LED drivers are designed and intended to operate LEDloads only. Powering non-LED loads may push the LEDdriver outside its specified design limits and is, therefore, not covered by any warranty.
eldoLED products are designed to meet the performancespecifications as outlined at certain operating conditions inthe data sheet. It is the responsibility of the fixturemanufacturer to test and validate the design and operationof the system under expected and potential use cases, including faults.
Please observe voltage drop over long cable lengths.Longer cable lengths increase EMI susceptibility.
