•In 1983 the Faculty of Robots and Robotic Systems was founded.

•In 1998 the Faculty was renamed into the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics. The new name better reflects the current structure of specialties and Faculty’s development.

•120 lecturers including 18 Professors and 64 Associate Professors (PhDs) work in the Chairs of the Faculty.

•1466 students are currently studying at the Faculty as full-time students , 543 students - part-time.

One of the Laboratory’s main areas of activity is the automation of production lines based on weigh batching.

More than 200 of asphalt and concrete mixing plants were automated during last 15 years.

The Laboratory’s specialists examine the existing equipment, design structural layouts, create control systems, data bases and visualisation.
