SOLIDWORKS PCB Connector, available as an extension for Altium Designer, takes the guesswork out of electrical and mechanical design synchronization, providing a managed workflow for design collaboration between the Altium Designer and SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD environments.

It programmatically links both environments, sharing critical design elements between electronic and mechanical design teams. This direct ECAD-MCAD collaboration methodology exchanges design data through a seamless, push-button interface that ensures consistency and accuracy and facilitates electromechanical codesign.

With the SOLIDWORKS PCB Connector, designers remain on the same page throughout the design process, helping to meet critical project schedules and design goals, and reduce costs associated with hardware re-spins.
