safe margins and will automatically provide any top up heating if

required

BUYING A SOLAR WATER HEATER

• Deciding on the best solar water heating product can be a daunting process. Solar Corp NZ:

• Will custom design a system sized to your hot water consumption requirements and provide a written

guarantee of energy savings

• Will install a solar system that provides at least 75% of your hot water energy. The payback compared

to a system of lower efficiency is similar, but the long term savings are significantly greater

• Uses the best possible solar thermal collector, capable of heating water under a range of solar radiation

PRODUCT BENEFITS

life our Solar Fin Collector is sealed in a glass vacuum

tube, protecting the solar radiation sensitive coating from

moisture in the atmosphere. Atmospheric corrosion of

the solar collector is completely eliminated

• More efficient. The Solar Fin is sensitive to the slightest

change in solar radiation resulting in more hot water

heating on any given day, especially during cloudy

weather

• More energy output. Our collectors provide 4 season

performance and generate more energy per square metre than other products on the market

• Year round water heating. The Solar Fin is insulated by a vacuum for superior performance during cold

weather. Our solar collectors will continue to heat water even when the outside temperature is –35°C

• Heat exchanger. Our Solar Fin vacuum tube is inserted into the heat exchanger with a dry fit. This means

no water flows though the solar collector, so it can not corrode due to poor water quality, and the vacuum

tubes can be removed at any time without draining the system

• Long lasting. Manufactured from durable aluminium, stainless steel and toughened glass, our product will

not corrode, even when installed in coastal environments. Our tubes can withstand 35mm hail stones

• No maintenance. Wind and leaves are free to pass between the vacuum tubes eliminating dirt build up and

excessive roof loads. Moss and lichen will not attach to the round tubes and rain will keep the tubes clean
