Third step: I put the engine in the structure

Fourth step: I put the batteries in the car

Sixth step: I placed the solar panel in the car

Finally: this is the end result

How it works

1. The solar cell get energy from the sun

2. The energy is stored in the batteries

3. The energy stored in the batteries give power to the engine

4. The car runs

Advantages It uses renewable energy. It does not produces CO2. It is self-sufficent thanks to the

batteries. The energy that consumes it

produced by itself, so the energy is completely free.

To build this type of car is cheaper than other types of car.

Disadvantages

The main disadvantage is that it does not produces enough energy to move reach high speeds.

Electric cars are already in the market, for example the new Renault Twizy.The disadvantages of electric cars today are mainly two: one that the maximum speed is limited, and two, the fact that batteries need to be recharged after not many kilometers.Technological advances are most probably going to solve these problems in the near future.
