Soil-less potting media comes in 3.8 cubic foot bales.

Use a knife to open the bale.

Empty the contents of the bale into the bucket.

The media is too dry to use as it comes in the

bale.

Use RO water to moisten the media.

Loosely fill the pot to the top rim with the moistened media.

Make a hole in the media in the center of the pot.

Hold the plant by it’s leaves and place the rooted plug in the media at the same level (or sometimes even more shallow) that it was growing in the flat.

Gently squeeze the media around the roots and gently firm the media down to the lower pot rim.

Water the plant in by filling the pot with water to the top rim keeping the water off the foliage.
