Background:
GOM was incorporated in 2009 with the aim
to involve in the development of water and
renewable energy projects by providing
technical, legal and financial consultancy,
direct project finance, procurement, project
management and operation assistance.
References - Hydro Power:
GOM was and is participating in several consortiums to acquire
concessions for hydro power plants in Asia, Europe and Latin
America.
GOM is shareholder of SYNERGIA SA (www.synergiasa.com.bo)
stock holding company in Bolivia, which has realized the Kanata
Hydro Power Plant on the basis of the first IPP - Independent
Power Producer - concession in Bolivia.
SYNERGIA has the status of an utility according to the new electricity
law of Bolivia, which was promulgated 1995 within the sectorial
reform of the state industry of Bolivia.
The involvement in SYNERGIA was the first Austrian participation in
an IPP and BOO project in the infrastructural sector in Latin America.
