Examples include MySpace, Facebook, bebo, Twitter, Tumblr. In many ways, social media has evolved to become a very powerful medium to channel emotion, context and experience.

School teachers are advising not to "friend" students on social networking sites, claiming that teacher-student communication through this medium is "inappropriate."
