THE BOOM OF GOOGLE

Google’s success is

validating new thinking…

Google is a company that produces no content

and sells no products, and yet it dramatically

increases the efficiency of content and

commerce, all by leveraging the communal

activity of its tens of millions of users.

Google’s success – which validates the new

WHY IS FACEBOOK IMPORTANT?Facebook is one of the top social

networking sites, quickly gaining on Myspace in terms

of total users and traffic. Facebook presents a unique

marketing opportunity for businesses through the

creation of Facebook Business Pages. As more people explore

social media, social networking sites have become some of the key online sources

they use to learn more about products, organizations,

artists and world events. Marketing on Facebook has a

viral effect – information spreads through networks

exponentially.

economist Thomas Nechyba, the increase in wealth and quality of life in the United

States has contributed to the isolation of individuals.

Whereas individuals and families formerly had to rely

upon social networks to insure against adverse economic

conditions, in present times these networks are no longer

as necesssary
