and donors.

BE CONCISE AND CONSISTENT

• Keep it short! Posts with less than 250 characters see 60% more engagement.

• Consistently post 2-5 times per week (not all in one day).

• Check Facebook Insights to learn about your audience and see which posts are reaching and engaging them.

• Conveniently schedule posts in advance to go live when your audience is most engaged.

TYPES OF POSTS

• Keep posts relevant to your

audience.

• Use photos - posts with photos are

• Include website URL in posts.

• Share videos from the Joni and

Friends YouTube page.

readers to share your post, ask a

question, etc.

• Respond to posts on your page.

• “Pin” a post to the top of your Timeline Stays for one week - Ex: Upcoming Event

• Change date.

• Reposition photo so that best part is visible.

Star Tool

• Highlight a post, making it double-width. Multiple posts can be starred at once.

• Good to use for important posts, videos, large photos, and events.
