Promoting the resources of the library

• If they do not know what the library posess

• If they do not know were to search for it

• If they do not visit the library

•Then we have to find them!

It is a task to get the teachers and the students to use the library

• What do we need? • We need a strategy and a colleague whom we

trust (and a little courage) • Start with one course, one teacher, one

database or one open access journal

Where are the students and the teachers?

Find out and chase them!

• Write messages • Make a simple newsletter • Inform about opening hours • Inform about new books • Tell about Open Access material • Create guides, both in print and on-line
