Social & Labor Convergence Project (SLCP) Converged Assessment. Collaborative Action. Improved Working Conditions. Mission To create a converged assessment framework that supports stakeholders’ efforts to improve working conditions in the global apparel and footwear supply chain.
Deliverables • A simple, unified and effective industry-wide assessment tool, which
• Is descriptive – standard agnostic and judgement free • Collects relevant and essential social & labor data • Assesses objectively social & labor conditions
• A verification methodology that ensures the integrity and accuracy of the data collected via the tool
• Terms & Conditions for usage of the converged assessment framework by signatories and end-users (e.g. used without amendments)
• Operational plan to facilitate the adoption of the tool and verification methodology
• A future vision and strategic plan for continuing support and oversight of the SLCP converged assessment framework

This project implies and requires a commitment by all signatory organizations to: • publically support the mission of the Social & Labor Convergence Project (SLCP) • collectively build a converged assessment framework: data collection tool and
verification methodology • jointly develop an SLCP operational plan to facilitate adoption of the assessment
framework by project stakeholders and share these assessment results amongst business partners
• develop concrete (individual) organizational adoption plans of the assessment framework to replace proprietary tools
• adhere to a process based on inclusiveness, collaboration under equal terms and collective ownership of the deliverables
• promote joint ownership and accountability for necessary improvements of working conditions based on SLCP assessment results

2. The high-level, aggregated feedback posted on the SLCP website. • No individual and/or organization tied to feedback or comments

3. May 2018: Launch of the final version of the converged assessment framework • Start replacing current proprietary tools from Sept. 2018 onwards.
4. Ongoing stakeholder engagement and communications will continue throughout the project development timeframe (through early 2019).
