Social intuition is the lifeline that saves most of us on a daily basis from an array of potentially disastrous social situations. It also helps us navigate situations that could be physically or mentally harmful. The hidden curriculum refers to the set of rules or guidelines that are often not directly taught but are assumed to be known (Garnett, 1984; Hemmings, 2000); Jackson , 1968; Kanpol, 1989.
