Our coaches work hard to make our team competitive in every aspect of NCAA Division I competition, including generating and managing our program’s resources. Your contribution will play a crucial role to the success of the soccer team. Please know that SUU is indeed grateful for your support to our program and feel confident that with your help we will reach our goal of becoming a force in the Big Sky and advancing to the conference tournament this fall. With the support of generous fans like you, we have recently made improvements to our equipment and facilities that have enhanced our training and helped us draw closer to competing at the highest levels. We know now that we can compete with anyone on the field, and as we continue to make improvements in other areas of our program, it is exciting to think what we can accomplish as a team here at SUU. Some of our achievements from last season demonstrate the building momentum that we would like to invite you to be a part of. • SUU Soccer matched the highest win total in program history with seven victories • A total of 12 different players scored a goal in 2014 with eight of those players recording multiple goals • 20 out of 26 players received academic all conference honors • The team scored set a new school record with 29 goals • Along with 26 assists, this tally led to a new all-time scoring mark of 84 points • The Big Sky Conference recognized four Thunderbirds with postseason awards • The team performed over 360 hours of community service in 2014 At a great school like Southern Utah University, we know that the word “student” comes first in “student- athlete”.
